Einar & Bert introduces photographers, illustrators, graphic designers, visual artists and directors, who present their work in the shop window and combine it with suitable books. The resulting windows are as unique as the artists themselves.

Since 2001, Philipp Preuss has been staging exhibitions of fictional-virtual artist figures portrayed by actors. His fictitious exhibition catalog “THE FAIR PLAY” is available as a signed, limited special edition exclusively at Einar & Bert. You can order the regular bookstore edition here .

Philipp Preuss, born 1974 in Bregenz and raised in Vienna, studied directing and acting at the Mozarteum Salzburg as well as theater studies and philosophy in Vienna and has been a freelance director since 2001. He lives in Berlin. His works are presented at the Schaubühne Berlin, at the Theater Dortmund, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Deutsches Theater Berlin, Schauspiel Leipzig, Residenztheater München.
