The comprehensive book shows international projects of Atelier Brückner 2002-2010 and their design processes. From abstract designs such as the Denkbaukasten for the Mercedes-Benz traveling exhibition, concepts for permanent exhibitions such as the Archaeological Museum Herne, corporate architecture in the redesign of the BMW Museum Munich or the Deutsche Börse Frankfurt on artistic multimedia productions such as the pavilion “Borders (er) leben “At the Swiss National Exhibition Expo 02 in Biel to mediatectures like the African Pavilion at the Expo 08 in Zaragoza and the State Grid Pavilion at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai. The studio Brückner in Stuttgart was founded in 1997 by the architect and stage designer Uwe R. Brückner and the architect Shirin Frangoul-Brückner. Today they manage it together with the architect Eberhard Schlag. With over 70 employees, it is one of the world’s leading studios for exhibition design and scenography. According to the motto “form follows content”, it consistently generates room concepts from content – and this is often awarded prizes.
