Sunnie from West Germany follows the rock singer Johnnie to Berlin because he promised her love after a concert and she expects a child from him. At the stations of subway line 1, which connects Berlin Zoo Station with Kreuzberg, Sunnie meets Bambie, the smart crooner with a big mouth and heart. He leads her through the underworld and helps find Johnnie. But he has another girl, and so Kleister, whose girlfriend has thrown himself in front of a subway, and Sunnie find together.
